Here is another house portrait done with black walnut ink. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to scan the drawing, and instead used my sub-par little camera. The detail shot turned out better because you can make out the texture of the line work.
This drawing is 11 x 15 inches on Bristol paper.
Hi Mark, I found your blog while searching for a recipe for Walnut ink. Can't wait to try it. I am however going to try it with hickory nuts as here in Connecticut we have a great many of them and few walnuts. I will let you know my results. Thanks for the info and your art is inspiring.
