I was preparing to paint more of the new retaining wall at Virginia Chance School, but there was some roofing materials piled in my way. When I moved some wet plastic, I found these two cute amphibians. I released them on a leafy hillside, away from where I might step on them or get paint on them.

I drew until it was too dark to see what I was doing. Also this week I saw scissor tailed flycatchers and great tailed grackles.
